Meet Smriti Kuchhal, a national-level weightlifting athlete and dedicated coach on a mission to create an emotionally fit world.
When asked, what advice would I give to my younger self, I’d say:
“Never let anyone tell you what you can or cannot do. Your potential is limitless, and the only thing holding you back is self-doubt.” Every decision you make should come from a place of strength, belief, and resilience. Explore every possibility, push every boundary, and never settle for less than your true potential. Helping people discover their own strength is my life’s purpose.
Growing Up
Unlike many athletes, I didn’t come from a sporting background. In fact, my journey began later than most, but it’s proof that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams.
Born in the city of education, Sonipat, I was surrounded by knowledge. My father, a visionary educator, instilled the value of education and perseverance. Despite not having a sports background, I always had a drive to push myself beyond limits, and it was this drive that led me to weightlifting.
I pursued my education in Journalism and Mass Communication at Amity University, followed by a master’s degree in design from Florence Design Academy, Italy. These experiences broadened my worldview, but it wasn’t until I discovered weightlifting that I truly found my calling.
My Journey into Weightlifting
In 2017, I took my first steps into the world of weightlifting, and like most things, the beginning was tough. Lifting even 5 kilos seemed impossible. But with time, dedication, and an unbreakable spirit, I managed to lift 110 kilos, setting records and winning gold medals across various competitions.
My journey has been about resilience, mental strength, and spiritual balance. I’ve learned that success isn’t just about physical strength but the alignment of the mind, body, and spirit. Meditation has played a key role in my journey, and it's something I continue to practice and teach today.
My life motto is "An Emotionally Fit World"
Through my own journey, I realized the importance of mental and emotional fitness. This realization led me to my mission—to create an emotionally fit world. I launched "Mission Happy Board Exams," an initiative that has reached over 30,000 students, helping them manage stress, anxiety, and focus on their overall well-being.
Through workshops, I mentor individuals in schools, colleges, and organizations, providing them with the tools they need to thrive emotionally and mentally.

Whether it’s through public speaking, conducting workshops, or hosting my podcast, Anandam for Bharat, I strive to empower individuals to be the best version of themselves. My content centers around mental and emotional awareness because I believe that true strength comes from within. My goal is to help people make decisions from a place of clarity and confidence, understanding all their options, and choosing what’s right for them. I live by the motto: "Strength is not just physical—it's mental, emotional, and spiritual." Let’s build an emotionally fit world, together.
